Stuff-A-Bus is a summer campaign that collects school supplies for needy children in our local schools. Working with more than 100 local organizations and hundreds of individual donors, we collect school supplies and small backpacks for lower-income children. Celebrate with us on Aug. 28 at the Red Wagon Back-2-School Bash.

The supplies are delivered to local schools in late August for distribution to needy children in early September when they return to school. (Read the brochure in PDF format.)

The Stuff-A-Bus campaign depends on personal involvement from civic-minded people like you. Here are some ways you can help:

• Encourage your local organization, church or business to become a designated collection site for Stuff-A-Bus backpacks and supplies.
• Donate new school supplies at a designated collection site (see list at right).
• Make a much-needed, tax-deductible donation (use the form at right or visit www.CityLinC.org).
• Help assemble “Stuff-A-Bus” backpacks by volunteering your time during
  July - August.
